Prior President Trump’s visit to his two luxury golf resorts in Scotland, an US Air Force C-17 has landed in Aberdeen.
President Trump will visit his two luxury golf resorts in Scotland, Trump International on the east coast of Aberdeenshire, which he bought in 2012, and Trump Turnberry in Ayrshire, about 200 miles away on the west coast, which he purchased in 2014.
The golf course was eventually approved and opened in 2012. Some of the grander aspects of the planned development, including 500 houses and a 450-room hotel, have not been realized, and the site has never made a profit.
A second 18-hole course at the resort is scheduled to open this summer. It’s named the MacLeod Course in honor of Trump’s mother.
Prior his visit, an United States Air Force Boeing C-17A Globemaster III, with registration 10-0220, departed West Palm Beach in Florida Wednesday at 21:04 EDT.
C-17 Globemaster III transport planes are used to carry a wide range of essential personnel, equipment, and logistics to support the presidential visit.
