This night, Air-Defense forces of Ukraine have damaged Russia’s IL 22M.
A Russian Air Force Ilyushin Il-22M was hit and damaged by Air-Defense forces.
The military aircraft (reg. 75106) was seriously damaged possibly by Ukrainian forces while flying in the Kerch airspace. A number of occupants were injured.
The pilots made an emergency landing at Anapa Anapa Airport (URKA), Russia.
According to reports, Ukraine shot down A-50. The Russian air defense panicked and shot at everything that flew, hit the IL-23 which did emergency landing at civilian field near Kerch with an engine on fire.
The A-50 reportedly disappeared from radar & stopped responding to aviation requests on the northern coast of the Azov Sea. Il-22M11 was hit on the eastern coast, near annexed Crimea, & requested an emergency landing in the southern Russian city of Anapa.
