A U.S. Marine Corps F-35B suffered a technical issue in U.S. air base in Japan.

A F-35B belonging to VMFA-121 “Green Knights” of USMC performed an emergency landing at Kadena Air Base around 1340hrs today due to suspected electrical problem.

During the towing process, its front landing gear collapsing to the ground.

Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121 (VMFA-121), also known as the “Green Knights”, is a United States Marine Corps aircraft squadron operating the F-35B Lightning II.

Kadena Air Base is a highly strategic United States Air Force base in the towns of Kadena and Chatan and the city of Okinawa, in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan.
