A helicopter (probably a Cougar) from the 5th Combat Helicopter Regiment (RHC) of Pau crashed this Wednesday afternoon around 4.30 pm, north of Tarbes in the Hautes-Pyrénées.
The Prefecture confirms an initial assessment of two dead and four injured in this accident. Two people are in absolute emergency and two people are in relative emergency.
For several weeks, the 5th RHC had been mobilized in the medical transfer of Covid-19 patients between hospitals.
