North Korea has fired a ballistic missile, South Korean media say, quoting military officials.

South Korean news agency Yonhap reported that the missile flew eastward.

The missile was launched from Pyongsong in South Pyongan Province, according to a statement from South Korean armed forces chiefs.

The missile flew eastward and the South Korean military is analyzing details with the US.
