On the 29th of February, 2024 a Sky Cana Airbus A321 was shot on its fuselage while landing at Port-au-Prince Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Haiti.
The Airbus A321 with registration 9H-AME was the unfortunate target of gunfire at the airport. The A321 operated by AvionExpress Malta, sustained damage to its left fuselage from at least one bullet.
The incident is attributed to escalating violence in the city, stemming from clashes between police and armed gangs.
No passengers or crew members were reportedly injured in the shooting.
