A SAS flight #SK4609 was intercepted by Typhoon fighter jets from RAF Coningsby.
Two Typhoon fighter jets were scrambled and intercepted a Scandinavian Airlines flight over Newcastle at FL380.
The incident was caught on livestream by YouTube channel Jonathan Winton.
It appears the Airbus A320neo (reg. EI-SIU) was suffering a loss of comms over the North Sea.
The plane was escorted all the way until landing at Manchester Airport and was caught by our camera.
Flight SK4609 departed Oslo at 11:120 (local time) this morning and landed at Manchester by 12:35 (GMT) on runway 23R.
