A British Airways flight was forced to return to London due to a cracked windscreen.

Flight #BA157 from London Heathrow departed on November 15th, 2023 from Heathrow at 22:35 GMT to Kuwait City.

But 1 hour into the flight, when the Boeing 787-9 was flying over Germany, pilots noticed something wrong with a windscreen according to our sources.

The crew advised the ATC and decided to return to London Heathrow.

The aircraft (reg. G-ZBKH) landed back on runway 27R 1 hour and 54 minutes after takeoff.

As we write this article, the plane is still on maintenance at Heathrow two days after the incident.
