An Edelweiss Air Airbus A320-200 rejected takeoff at Zurich Airport.

The Airbus A320 was taking off on runway 32 when it rejected takeoff at high speed.

The aircraft (reg. HB-IHY) was operating flight #EDW298 to Faro when it swung violently to the left followed by immediate corrective action.

According to The Aviation Herald, the take-off was rejected at about 140 kts.

A tire blew out before flight #EDW298 to Faro came to a safe stop.

The aircraft vacated the runway, the passengers disembarked via stairs onto the apron and were taken to the terminal.
