On the 18th of September, a DHL International Boeing 767 received substantial damage to its upper fuselage stemming from a hard landing at Beirut International Airport in Lebanon.

The Boeing 767-300 freighter, with registration A9C-DHAB, was operating flight ES160 from Bahrain to Beirut. However, the 767F suffered a hard landing in Beirut.

As a result, the crew received minor injuries, and the aircraft sustained substantial damage. The B767 came to a stop and taxied to its parking stand.

The status of the involved aircraft remains unknown until Boeing responds with an answer as to whether the freighter could be repaired or written off.

An accident investigation commission has been formed to determine the probable causes of the incident.
