Ural Airlines Flight made an emergency landing in a field, Novosibirsk region, Russia.

Ural Airlines Flight U61383 made an emergency landing in Novosibirsk region, Russia, the morning of Sept. 12.

The Ural Airlines (U6) Flight #U61383 was en route from Sochi to Omsk.

The pilot reported hydraulic problems to ATC.

The Airbus A320 (reg. RA-73805) looks to made an approach to Omsk at 2,000 ft then gained altitude, turned around the city then flew at 18,000 ft before loosing altitude for an emergency landing in a field in the Ubinsky district of the Novosibirsk region.

The 19 year-old plane is an Airbus A320-200, previously registered as VP-BMW, in the airline fleet since 2013.

Russia’s Interfax news agency reported that there were 159 people aboard. Earlier, TASS reported that the plane carried 156 people.

Preliminary information indicates that there were no casualties.

Due to sanctions following the war in Ukraine, Airbus and Boeing aircraft in Russian airlines are running out of spare parts.

Russian Aeroflot is also facing problems replacing worn-out brakes on aircraft.
