An Emirates Airbus A380 possibly struck a drone upon landing at Nice Airport (NCE), France.

On 18 August, flight EK77 between Dubai and Nice possibly hit by a drone, according to information from Aviation Safety Network.

The Emirates Airlines Airbus A380-800 (registered A6-EOM) was operating the flight.

The aircraft is currently still at Nice Airport for repairs and inspection.

The right wing’s slat probably hit an object on the approach to runway 04L.

The plane completed the landing safely and taxied to its parking stand.

The French investigation board BEA confirmed is opening an investigation but could not yet confirm if a drone was indeed involved.
