A SpiceJet Bombardier Dash 8 caught fire at Delhi Airport.

The SpiceJet Bombardier Dash 8 – Q400 caught fire at Bay 158 of IGI Airport Delhi Terminal 1 on July 25th 2023.

The engine No. 1 of the aircraft (reg. VT-SUD) caught fire , while AME was carrying out engine ground run at idle power.

The fire brigade was called and managed the incident.

The De Havilland Canada DHC-8, commonly known as the Dash 8, is a series of turboprop-powered regional airliners, introduced by de Havilland Canada (DHC) in 1984.

DHC was later bought by Boeing in 1988, then by Bombardier in 1992
