A Russian Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft lost both of the fan cowls of left engine.

The Russian Azimuth Airlines aircraft took off to Yerevan but was forced to return to Mineralyne Vody Airport.

The Sukhoi Superjet 100 lost its fan cowls of the left engine shortly after takeoff.

The plane safely landed back at Mineralyne Vody Airport.

The part was later found on the ground near the airport.

Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft suffers maintenance issues as foreign countries impose sanctions. Various Superjets have already been cannibalised for the purpose of keeping others in the air.
