The nosegear of an Allegiant Airlines aircraft collapsed at Los Angeles.

The Allegiant Airlines Airbus A319 (reg. N314NV) sustained damage to its nosegear and engine nacelles when the nosegear gave way and collapsed during maintenance.

  • UPDATE: The nosegear was inadvertently retracted during regular maintenance.

The A319 was parked inactive on a ramp position at Las Vegas airport after performing flight G437 from Monterey, CA.
