An An-2 plane has crashed in Kamchatka and almost completely burned down.

An An-2 single-engine aircraft crashed on Friday in Russia’s Kamchatka Territory, leaving two individuals useless, regional Governor Vladimir Solodov mentioned.

The aircraft crashed close to the village of Koryaki, lower than a mile from the runway.

“There have been two crew members on board. In accordance with preliminary data of the Emergencies Ministry, they died because of the crash and the erupted hearth,” Solodov wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the transport prosecutor’s office, the plane belonged to the Kamchatsky Krechet company.

The causes of the incident stay unknown.
