Passengers of of KLM flight #KL598 are currently blocked in the Boeing 777-300ER.

The passengers were not allowed to disembark for more than 3 hours. Flight KLM #KL592 has landed at 11.15CET.

Passengers of KLM flight #KL598 arriving at Amsterdam Schiphol from South Africa are informed they cannot leave the aircraft yet amid sudden Covid Nu Variant restrictions.

  • UPDATE The passengers will have be tested & quarantined.

The Netherlands have banned all flights from southern Africa “due to concerns about the new coronavirus variant” — Health Minister, Hugo de Jonge.
