A Jung Sky Cessna 525A CitationJet CJ2 suffered a runway excursion after landing at Antwerp Airport, Belgium on 30 January.
The aircraft was operating a private flight between Naples, Italy and Antwerp Airport with one passenger and two crew members. The aircraft touched down on runway 11. However, the aircraft overran the runway and came to a full stop in the grass.
The aircraft with registration 9A-JSC apparently touched down late causing the accident. The Belgian Civil Aviation Agency has launched an investigation.
All scheduled flights to Antwerp Airport on Saturday night were diverted to Maastricht Airport after the incident.

In a statement, Kresimir Jung, the owner of the airline, said:
“There was one passenger in the plane with a two-member crew, and neither the passenger nor the crew was injured.”
“During the landing, the plane extended another 30 meters behind the runway. What is most important in the whole story is that absolutely no one was injured in that incident. The plane was then pulled from the grassy area where it landed. He fell to the ground with his wheels. He was dragged to the hangar where he is currently working on a diagnosis to see how much damage there is. At first glance, it seems that the damage is not too great, because the plane was most normally pulled out and towed by a towing tractor. There was no major damage in the sense that the plane would no longer be able to fly. Everything went without, thank God, no injuries or anything serious, that is the most important thing.”
