All passengers were evacuated onto the taxiway as operations were suspended for 15 minutes while this incident was ongoing.
Operating flight LO641 to Bucharest, Romania for LOT, ES-ACD was taxying towards Runway 29 for departure when smoke filled the cabin and an evacuation was ordered.
Multiple inbound aircraft were forced to hold until operations were allowed to continue, before the passengers were bussed back to the terminal and the aircraft was tugged to a remote stand.
It is currently unknown what caused the smoke to fill the cabin. The aircraft was grounded for just under 12 hours before re-entering service.
