BREAKING Cargolux Boeing 747-8F returned to Kuala Lumpur Airport after reporting fire in the cockpit

Cargolux aircraft returned to Kuala Lumpur Airport after report of fire in the cockpit.

Cargolux flight #CV303 to Zhengzhou returned to Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

The pilots of the Boeing 747-8F departed at 11:50 UTC  and declared an emergency few minutes later before returning to Kuala Lumpur.

The aircraft (reg. LX-VCJ) landed on runway 32R then stopped on taxiway.

Cargolux Airlines said:
Cargolux flight CV7303 (LX-VCJ) has safely landed in KUL after emergency was declared.

Malaysia Airports said:
Cargolux flight CV7303 experienced fire in the cockpit and proceeded for an emergency landing at our Runway 1 (32R) of KL International Airport.

No one was injured in the incident.
