On 8 October at around 22.48 (local time) Boeing 747-400 from Guangzhou suffered a runway excursion.
The flight #TG679 landed at runway 19R with 116 people on board. The main left gear left pavement and was stuck into grass under inclement weather conditions.
“There was heavy rain upon landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport, and the aircraft experienced a partial excursion from the runway, whereby the aircraft came to a complete stop,” explains Thai.
The Boeing 747-400 (reg. HS-TGF) suffered damages. The runway was closed for inspection. A Notam has been issued.
One passenger was injured passengers with left ankle syndrome.
