ALERT Man arrested at Paris Orly airport after forcing security checks and going on tarmac

A 27-year-old Syrian man was arrested Thursday morning at Paris Orly airport after forcing a checkpoint and going on the tarmac before attempting to board a Tunis Air plane.

The man explained he wanted to join Syria, according to French Newspaper Le Figaro.

At 7:56 (local time), the man was seen – dressed in black and wearing a cap – forcing a checkpoint, before heading to a secure door. He already tried earlier to force a checkpoint in the hall 1.

At 8:02 an alarm of a door giving access to the tarmac triggered. Police finally arrested the man at 8:55.

The 27-year-old Syrian man tried board a Tunis Air plane. He refused to give his identity but was carrying two passports and a Syrian driver’s license .
