A Honolulu-bound flight on American Airlines diverted to Los Angeles Sunday morning after three of the six toilets on the 8-½ hour flight stopped working. American Airlines Flight 005 had taken off from Dallas/Fort Worth, but the Boeing 767-300ER diverted to L.A. because of the lavatory problems, airline spokesman Alexis Aran Coello confirmed to The Associated Press.
