A Qantas plane has made an emergency landing in Perth after reportedly having issues with its air conditioning system.
Flight QF2 was travelling from Dubai and was due to land in Sydney later this morning.
Passengers on board the A380 told the TODAY Show the jet dropped from 39,000 feet to 9,000 feet in minutes.
They said the sudden descent caused the on-board computers to think the plane was close to landing – shutting down the air conditioning system inside the cabin.
The plane was met on the tarmac by emergency crews after a safe landing.
